FAQ
Query fees need to be collected within 7 days of closing the allocation.
Regarding the issue of burned query fees:

- In 0.19.0, Query Voucher Redemption batching was introduced. Along with it, the env var INDEXER_AGENT_VOUCHER_REDEMPTION_BATCH_THRESHOLD with a default value of 2000
- When closing allocations, indexer-agent collects the vouchers, and adds all the voucher of a value greater to INDEXER_AGENT_VOUCHER_REDEMPTION_BATCH_THRESHOLD (default 200) to the batch
- No voucher redemption will happen until the batch threshold is reached. If an indexer doesn't happen to close many allocations, or if it doesn't process a lot of queries, this may take several days (or weeks) before reaching the threshold of 2000 GRT
- Voucher redemption is possible only while the epoch where the allocation was closed is still in the 'settling' phase (7 epochs?). After that period, the voucher is null
- The smart contract applies a 100% tax on expired vouchers, burning all GRT immediately
- There is no mechanism built into indexer-agent to delete expired vouchers from the batch queue.

tl/dr: redemption batching is a cool new feature of 0.19.x, but indexers need to carefully set a value for INDEXER_AGENT_VOUCHER_REDEMPTION_BATCH_THRESHOLD that makes sense for their query volume and allocation closing pattern.
Taxes in the network. 0.05 % delegating, 1% for curating, 1% burn for all generated query fees, 1.25%/2.5% subgraph upgrade tax.

Sharing Graph Network - Burn Dashboard which covers below metrics:

- Total GRT Burnt
- Total Delegation/Curation/Query Fees/Subgraph Upgrade Burn
- GRT Delegation Burns By Week
- GRT Curation Burns By Week
- Subgraph Upgrade Burns By Week
Query fees, delegations, curations, etc. all burn a portion of GRT involved in those transactions. There are also slashing mechanisms for Indexers, along with residual rebates that cause burning.

Every time you delegate, you will be charged 0.5%. That 0.5% is burned.

Upon initial curation of a subgraph (the first signal), a 1% standard tax is incurred.
Every time you curate, a 1% curation tax is incurred. You will also pay a 0.5% curation tax on every migration (of your signal to a new subgraph). Subgraph developers are discouraged from frequently publishing new versions - they have to pay a 0.5% curation tax on all auto-migrated curation shares.
Delegator rewards are calculated based on the amount of GRT delegated to an Indexer and the Indexer's reward cut.
This is the closest you’ll get to that. As you’ll see, lots of variables in play!
Subgraph allocation depends on lot of factors:

- Curation signal
- How much stake+delegation an indexer has
- Timing of allocation
- Gas factor and more
