What is Inverse finance?
Inverse Finance is a decentralized autonomous organization that develops and manages a suite of permissionless and decentralized financial products using blockchain smart contract technology. Originally founded by Nour Haridy in late 2020, the protocol is now governed by Inverse Finance DAO, a collective of crypto enthusiasts. Our code base is open source and maintained by the community. INV holders hold voting power in our on-chain governance system called Governor Mills. A proposal takes a minimum of five days to move through the process and to be more agile, Inverse DAO has created Working Groups with limited discretionary budgets. Reach out in the CWG-General channel if you're interested in contributing. INV is the governance token for Inverse Finance DAO in our on-chain governance system.

Our Community
INV token holders and other interested parties form a community where discussions of the future of the Inverse Finance DAO and related topics are discussed. Many conversations are public and we welcome newcomers to ask questions and share their perspective. The most prominent way the community interacts is via our server, both in text and voice calls. Discord is a great platform for building a community with real-time chat and VOIP channels and allows us to structure interaction to fit bot work and user support, and a place to get to know each other. We also have a governance intended for discussing and presenting progress on formal Inverse Finance DAO governance proposals.

Activities And Events
The Community Working Group was formed in March 2022 and is responsible for assisting with community activities, onboarding and acting as a governance steward among other duties. We host weekly public Community calls ranging from more vertically oriented calls like the weekly Growth Working Group call to the introductory Orientation calls. We also host more “relaxed” Thursday Poker games (open to everyone!).

Transparency
Transparency in traditional finance is achieved through financial reporting from private institutions and regulations from central authorities. However, in practice, full transparency is only to be achieved in closed circle, often behind the protection of banking or industrial secrecy laws between regulating and regulated entities. Conversely, Blockchain and its public nature are allowing any actor to track every single cash flow with perfect accuracy : financial transparency is made easier at a granular level through an ever growing ecosystem of analyzing tools (ie. Etherscan, Dune Analytics, Nansen etc.) At Inverse Finance, transparency means that we strive to provide our users and the general public with all relevant information on our market strategy, assessments, and our DOLA monetary policy in an opened, clear and timely manner as well as the tools to process it.

Staking Rewards
Long-term supporters and investors are encouraged to deposit, or stake their INV in FiRM and use their voting power to participate in the governance of Inverse Finance DAO. Inverse Finance ensures that stakers remain the primary beneficiaries of INV supply expansions by rewarding stakers with INV rewards APY at matching INV supply expansions. The rewards APY can therefore fluctuate as more or less INV is introduced. INV staking rewards are calculated every single time an Ethereum block is mined, which is around 6400 times every single day, and they are distributed each time someone stakes or unstakes INV in FiRM. This means that the published APY in the FiRM user interface may fluctuate as the rate at which additional Ethereum blocks are mined take more or less time.

DOLA Feds
The Fed contracts are made to expand and contract DOLA supply. They are controlled by Inverse Finance governance and they are a powerful tool for DOLA peg management. There are three different types of Fed contracts. All of them share some qualities like having the ability to expand DOLA supply by minting and supplying DOLA directly to the connected liquidity pool or lending market DOLA supply while a contraction withdraws and burns DOLA. A great way to keep track of all the ‘expansions’ and ‘contractions’ of DOLA supply is via the ‘Feds Policy & Income’ or 'DOLA & Feds' tabs on the Transparency page.

FAQ
Inverse Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that aims to provide innovative financial products and services on the Ethereum blockchain. It offers a range of products designed to give users exposure to various assets and investment strategies.
Inverse Finance operates through a suite of smart contracts that enable users to participate in different investment strategies. Users can deposit their assets into liquidity pools, vaults, or other investment vehicles to generate yield or gain exposure to specific assets.
Using Inverse Finance provides several benefits, including access to diverse investment opportunities, potential yield generation, and exposure to different assets or asset classes. The protocol aims to offer users a flexible and efficient way to manage and grow their digital assets.
Liquidity pools and vaults are key components of Inverse Finance. Liquidity pools enable users to contribute their assets and liquidity to a shared pool, which is then used for various purposes such as trading or lending. Vaults, on the other hand, are specialized pools designed for specific investment strategies, allowing users to participate in automated yield farming or asset management.
To participate in Inverse Finance, you can connect your Ethereum wallet to the protocol's interface and interact with the available products and services. You can deposit assets into liquidity pools or vaults, stake tokens, or participate in other investment strategies based on your desired exposure and risk appetite.
