What is SUI?
Sui offers scalability and unprecedented low-latency for simple use cases. Sui makes most transactions processable in parallel. This better utilizes processing resources and offers the option to increase throughput by adding more resources. Sui forgoes consensus to instead use simpler and lower-latency primitives for simple use cases, such as payment transactions and assets transfer. This is unprecedented in the blockchain world and enables a number of new latency-sensitive distributed applications ranging from gaming to retail payment at physical points of sale.

Overview
The Sui blockchain is reshaping the industry by achieving unprecedented speed and scalability. Its innovative approach takes advantage of the fact that a large number of blockchain transactions involve non-overlapping states, which allows for parallel processing. Additionally, Sui optimizes for single-writer objects, removing the need for consensus in simple transactions. Unlike traditional blockchains which rely on fire-and-forget broadcasts, Sui's design enables requestors or proxies to proactively communicate with validators to finalize transactions, resulting in near-instant finality. With such low latency, Sui is a key enabler to incorporating transactions into games and other settings that require real-time completion.

Objects
Sui has programmable objects created and managed by Move packages (a.k.a. smart contracts). Move packages themselves are also objects. Thus, Sui objects can be partitioned into two categories: mutable data values and immutable packages.

Object ownership Every object has a owner field that indicates how this object is being owned. The ownership dictates how an object can be used in transactions.

Transactions
All updates to the Sui ledger happen via a transaction. This topic describes the transaction types supported by Sui and explains how their execution changes the ledger.

Validators
The Sui network is operated by a set of independent validators, each running its own instance of the Sui software on a separate machine (or a sharded cluster of machines operated by the same entity). A validator participates in the network by handling read and write requests sent by clients. This section focuses on the latter.

FAQ
SUI is a web framework for building user interfaces (UIs) that aims to provide a simple, flexible, and customizable solution for developers. It includes a set of pre-designed UI components and templates that can be easily customized to fit the specific needs of a project.
SUI supports HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are the fundamental technologies used to build web applications.
Some advantages of using SUI include its lightweight and fast performance, its easy-to-use and customizable UI components, and its compatibility with a wide range of devices and browsers.
To get started with SUI, you can visit the project's website and follow the documentation and tutorials provided. You can also download the source code and use it in your own projects.
